I strugged to find a good keyboard experience within a meager budget (~$100ish). After going through six or seven such keyboards in the last five years…with the exception of the Spectre, I was always dissapointed with performance or design / build quality. I decided to splurge for the ZSA Voyager for its compact design, customizability, and oryx – and love it. No regrets!
I opted for the Graphite Layout to try something new. After six months, I am fairly proficient – nowhere near my previous typing speed, but typing no longer feels tedious. I think I could have learned the Graphite layout faster is I was not also having to learn the different layer mapping and homerow mods.

I love this wireless trackball mouse from Logitech. Although I was pretty skeptical at first, it only took about an hour of serious testing to be completely sold. It is so comfortable to use and I love the ergonomic tilt feature. It has made working at crowded cafes with small tables so much easier because I no longer need tabletop real estate to move around the screen (I sometimes put the mouse on my lap). The original price is pretty steep, but I was lucky to find a used + refurbished version on Amazon for much cheaper.

I always loved photography. While I do love me an old, mechanical body, and prefer a dedicated camera to a smartphone, I am very much against the trend / illness known as GAS. After playing around with different setups over the years, I currently use the following cameras:
Leica MD typ262 #
Purchased on a whim on eBay at the start of the pandemic. This camera resolved all of my qualms with the Fujifilm X-Pro II – the experience and beautiful simplicity of this camera truly mimics the experience of shooting on a 35mm film camera. There is no screen, no complicated menu to configure settings, no gratuitous / superficial “features”, and the camera is pretty quick to turn on + start taking photos.

I wanted to love this camera – the form and function seemed great on paper. The actual experience, however, left much to be desired. Aside from the film simulation modes, there was not much I enjoyed about this camera. I did, however, realize that I loved the idea of no more “chimping”

I picked this up in Singapore at Black Market Camera (in the infamous Peninsula Shopping Center). The used camera market in Singapore is amazing and I always wanted a Bessa rangefinder but had never come across one before in-person. I paired this camera with a used Leica Summicron-C 40mm lens which was available for an amazing price at another vender in the same tower.

I use this for my superficial photography needs whenever I need to prove that I really did see someone with a live chicken in their backpack (but since I am no longer on most messaging services, this doesn’t happen as often as I’d like).

I was a long-time iPhone user, happily entreched in the Apple ecosystem with my suite of devices – until I wasn’t. I gave it up, cold turkey, in January 2025 and have not regretted it one iota.
